I don’t know where Colleen Hoover gets her crazy ideas, but she makes embarrassing kisses, uncomfortable parent talk and the idea of the worst boyfriend/girlfriend to be terribly alluring and swoon-worthy.

His thoughts are truly priceless.Īnd I swear, Finding Cinderella had me grinning like a fool the whole time (except when things where going down *frowns*). It’s not that I don’t like her (she’s amazing) but it wouldn’t have been the same. Being inside his mind was a real treat and I’m glad it was him instead of Six. I loved Daniel as he goes from being a semi-jerk to being a guy unafraid of showing his true feelings. I think this brings that “ love at first sight” thing to a whole different level!

It’s just that these two have this crazy chemistry, and they both realize it when they first blindly meet in a dark closet at their high school, and then after meeting again a year later. I had already met Daniel and Six in the first two books in the Hopeless series, and while I liked them as supporting characters, I never thought I would end up loving them more than Sky and Holder (sorry guys!). This book is funny, romantic, heart-wrenching and at times so ridiculous that it made me love it even more. Unfortunately for Daniel, finding Cinderella doesn’t guarantee their happily ever after…it only further threatens it.Ĭolleen Hoover doesn’t write books, she writes magic! This novella is absolute perfection and gosh, I wish it would have gone on forever. Especially when the two loves of his life end up being one in the same. Daniel soon realizes the way he pretended to feel about Cinderella and the way he really feels about Six may not be so different after all. One year and one bad relationship later, his disbelief in insta-love is stripped away the day he meets Six: a girl with a strange name and an even stranger personality. Moments like that with girls like her don’t happen outside of fairytales. When their hour is up and the girl rushes off like Cinderella, Daniel tries to convince himself that what happened between them only seemed perfect because they were pretending it was perfect. But this love comes with conditions: they agree it will only last one hour and it will only be make-believe.
